I would like to thank the Club for inviting me to judge Smooths at their Championship show -meant to be 2020; also thanks to my stewards.

 The overall quality was good and I especially liked the heads and eye shape -almond as correct and not round. All were shown in clean condition -only one needed teeth cleaning. Some found the floor a little slippery. very impressed with the overall quality of the exhibits.

Well presented bitch ; feminine balanced head,gentle eye,correct mouth, strong neck, forechest into good front;long ribbing and firm body; good turn of stifle and firm feet.Moved freely round the ring.

Minor Puppy Dog  (3, 1 Abs)

Good class with 2 well presented babies
1st: MILLS-JONES Cwmdarhian Gordon Ramsey

Strong chap who enjoyed showing. Elegant head and neck into firm front; well sprung ribbing and muscled body . Kept a good topline on the move.
2nd: KNOTT Bensarka Dream Machine

Extrovert temperament. Up close to 1 and same comments apply. Found this floor a bit slippy.

Three quality puppies.

1st:  HIGGINS Leveliss Thomas the Rhymer

Expressive oval eye, good head and ear set. Well developed forechest; firm shoulders, long ribbing to loin. Kept a good topline on the move. Well muscled which showed on his movement which won him this class
2nd: BETHEL Hampdach Lord Flashheart

Beautiful head and expression; strong neck into balanced front, well sprung ribbing. The floor was a little slippery for him.
3rd: ANDISON & PEEL Cedavoch Drizzle of Rain

Quality boy. Proud head carriage well placed leathers. Firm neck and well laid shoulders; long ribbing and short loin. Good turn of stifle, tight feet. kept a good topline on the move.

2nd: STARKEY Carpaccio Magnum pi at Hamoura

Initially fidgety but handled well to settle him. Good eye and expression. Strong neck, good forechest and front. Well muscled body and rear; moved with drive.
3rd:  HINWOOD Adnerb Sheer Nanagins at Longmel

Balanced head; good eye and expression Strong neck into well laid shoulders; good forechest, well sprung ribbing and short loin. Firm rear movement and kept a good topline when moving. Must mention his twinkling eye making sure you watched him at all times !!
2nd:HEELS Daxanory Menacing Dennis

Fidgety to start but settled well. Pleasing expression, shoulders into sprung ribs. Strong rear and tight feet. Moved well when settled.

very strong class with quality exhibits.
1st: KERRY Kireton Beau Diddley

what a find on the day. This boy was in tip top hard condition -a good old fashioned type with a hammy rear which showed on the move. Balanced head, well set leathers, elegant neck and pro sternum. Long ribbing and short loin. Muscled body with strong rear, moved with drive ++. Pleased to award him the CC (heard this was his 3rd -congrats)
2nd: CHAUNAN Raajput's Blacky Returns

Worthy champion close up to 1 but not the movement today. Impressive head, strong neck.good shoulders . Well bodied.
3rd:  MACDONALD Bensarka Limerick

RCC -A worthy champion; strong proud stance. Balanced head and forechest, correct shoulders into long ribbing and short loin. Strode out well -as one with the handler.

A very pretty girl with lovely head and expression. Strong neck into balanced front.Pro sternum developing well; good ribbing to loin. Moved well and true keeping her topline.

RCC BPIB BPIS Well balanced and presented. feminine head with almond eye. Strong front and shoulders into good ribbing and short loin. Good turn of stifle. Moved out well with drive. One to watch.
2nd: HUNT Lauralee Joan of Arc at Carpaccio

Not as settled as 1 but a lot to like. Beautiful head and eye. Shoulders well laid; good ribbing and loin. Moved well when settled. carrying a little weight.
3rd: ROBERTS Cedavoch Blowing a Gale to Swansford

Junior Bitch (4, 1 Abs)

1st: ANDISON & PEEL Clentry Argentine Tango

Well proportioned head and expression. Good reach of neck into well laid shoulders. Pro sterum developed, long ribbing and short loin. Moved out well.
2nd: MCNAUGHTON Cedavoch Storm Quest

Another not as settled initially but did move well once settled. balanced head and expression, good shoulder placement into adequate ribbing and strong loin. Beautiful tight feet and strong rear.
3rd: SMALL Ulybka Fortuny Zlatovlaska at Devondax

Post Graduate Bitch (6, 2 Abs)

A difficult class; all had merit.
1st: MCDONALD Hampdach Alice Springs at Bensarka

Strong elegant girl with good reach of neck; shoulders ok, body well developed into a strong rear. Moved out well keeping her topline.

2nd: MCNAUGHTON Cedavoch Sea Breeze

Another quality bitch from this kennel. Not as settled on the move as 1 but showed her extrovert temperament. Balanced head and strong neck into good shoulder placement. Once settled she did move well.

3rd: HIGGINS Leveliss a Lover Spurned

very smart bitch who moved out well. Good head and expression; elegant neck. Pro sternum developed, good shoulders with balanced ribbing to loin. Good rear angulation used well on the move.
2nd: NORTON Matzell Martinella

Another beautiful girl from this kennel -very mischevious eye and superior look. Strong neck into well placed shoulders, ribbing developed and loin short and strong. Moved soundly
3rd: STARK Adnerbs Won Vision of Gobannium JW

Super class of quality bitches. Both 1 & 2 were shown in excellent condition.

 BCC BOB BIS -Smart well balanced hound with beautiful head and reach of neck. Developed pro sternum; sound shoulders. Ribbing to loin correct. Strong muscled rear. Moved so soundly today once her handler took control.
2nd:  LOCKETT-WALTERS Ralines Quickstep

Another quality girl with balanced head, good reach of neck. Sound front into well laid shoulders. Strong body, angulated rear used so well on the move.
