Firstly I would like to thank both the committee for inviting me to judge the Standard Smooth Haired Dachshunds at their championship show and the exhibitors for giving me such a lovely entry on my first time judging this breed.

Handsome male, who certainly didn’t show his age. In excellent condition, balanced all through. Looked good on stance, moved with both freedom and drive. Pleased to award him the RCC.

Feminine bitch with a lot to like. Correct in both fore and hind quarters. Moved well.

Nice baby puppy, all in proportion. Really extended on the move, look forward to seeing how his future career develops.

Lovely masculine red, with excellent ring presence. Only 10months old, but mature for his age, correct in shoulder and forequarters, good length of ribbing, keeping a level top line both on the stance and on the move.

Nice youngster in excellent condition. Good front, however preferred the head and movement of 1.

Masculine boy, good ring presence, commanding attention. Excellent bone and substance, good head and reach of neck, prominent forcechest, keeping a level top line both on the stance and on the move.

Just loved this red boy. Real houndy dog who stood his ground in a strong open dog class. Lovely head and eye, good reach of neck, correct shoulder, good spring of rib, correct hindquarters, moved true fore and aft. Delighted to award his his crowning CC.

Sound dog in excellent condition. All in proportion, well balanced. Looked lovely on the move.

Lovely red 10month old puppy bitch, lovely head and eye, well placed should into good length of ribbing. Mature for her age, I’m sure will have a promising future.
