My Thanks to the Committee for the invitation . A Good entry awaited me, the show was a well run friendly event.. All Miniature Smooths without exception had a good positive attitude ,Mouths were also good . Rib cages did however not prove as positive , there were at least 2 that you could see were Flanged without even putting your hands on them ..

This is a beauty competition in its broader sense and dogs are meant to have fur on them ..

Having said that my winners pleased me greatly, and this must bode well for the future of the breed, I take this opportunity to congratulate the Breeders who have worked tirelessly to put the wrongs right in this breed. Its never easy trying to put a Standard into Miniature.. Thank you to all who entered .

I Was delighted to stand and watch my Best of Breed go Best in Show, also My Best Puppy go Best Puppy in Show , many congratulations to both owners..

Veteran D/or B 3,1abs

1ST Coxon , D’Arisca Damsel In A Dress , 7 yr old black and tan , very sound well put together bitch.

Gained her first place on her positive movement both fore and aft. Best VET in breed.

2nd Phillips Dactra Frank Furter of Robinswood. Black and tan Male , ok in front but not the back end of winner.

Minor PD. 7 1ABS.

1st Mitchell Bronia Biaggio, Black and Tan , really sound from head to toe, just flowed right through .

Came into his own on the move , Delighted to award him res dog cc, BPIB and Best Puppy in Show.

2nd Stephen Bedu Stars and Stripes, Brindle Beautiful head and eye. Moved out well ,just thought one more finished on the day.

PD 5. 1ST Paget /Carroll, Marvale Master of Disguise, Black and Tan , sound moving ,well made front good topline kept good outline at all times.

2nd Shutt Melriding Captain Cook of Donnadoon. Brindle with the best of heads and eye , lovely front ,just preferred rear of one.

JD6 1ABS. 1ST Ergis Siouxline Jacob , Very elegant type, clear red ,kept a good outline on the move ,drove out well around the ring.

2ND Paget/Carroll Marvale in Cahoots, Another very sound male, gave a good account of himself, well made , sound both ways , im sure these 2 could change places on more than one occasion .

ND2 1ST Taylors Our Chocolate Chip at Trageeda, won with quite a bit to spare, good dark chocolate with correct pigment , very sound good ribbing ,handled well on the table ,.

2nd Gibb/Harper Master Smith First show for dog and owners and this obviously showed.

PG.5 1ABS. 1st Parish Melriding Lambert Simnel at Garlandelms, Red with good head , enough bone for size well made with correct rib cage, maintained a good profile both moving and standing.

2nd Sterry Barisse Asarabacca, black and tan Decent sort , very honest little hound kept his shape on the move to gain his second in this class.

LD 8 3ABS. 1ST Roberts Wingcrest Supersonic to Denver, Black and tan just out of puppy.

Lots of appeal ,very sound , with good ribbing , sound positive movement both fore and aft .

2nd Blackburn Bennett Stargang Barracuda Red seemed a little unsettled today, well made skull with correct eye. Just lost out to one on upper arm .

OD Paget /Carroll CH Marvale Up With the Lark . clear red , gorgeous type ,this is a standard in miniature, well filled front good bone level topline well made rear . Covered the ground with ease with good length of stride shown in beautiful condition ,privilege to award him the CC.

2nd Barrett Ch Ayseebee Rumour Has It , Black and tan , very worthy Champion . Neat little hound , handled well, at one with handler at all times, today he was missing fur on his stern ,I know this can be a problem ,but for me just spoilt the complete picture.

MPB. 9 4ABS. 1st Shutt Donnadoon Carolina Moon. Clear red . Very promising puppy , well put together ,well versed with what was needed of her on the day , showed herself off to advantage.

2nd Kerry’s Kireton Hebe , Black and tan , beautiful breed type ,everything in proportion ,just not so cooperative on the floor with handler, great on the table , but I’m sure these 2 will have many a ding dong battle through their puppyhood.

PB. 10 5ABS. 1ST Paget/Carroll Marvale Miss Meera. Another Black and tan, good breed type, neat outline , handled well maintained a very good profile on the move .

2nd Carey Deebie Oooh La La , Black and tan ,with much potential for the future , all puppies as you can imagine at different stages of development. Interesting to watch how they all pan out.

JB. 9 2ABS . 1st Melbourne/Paget and Carroll Siouxline Goldilocks of Melriding, Clear Red , so sound, very stylish in type. Used herself well on the move ,great attitude.

2nd Metcalfe-Bilgin, Metadale Something Special, Ultra sound ,good rib cage well rounded ,neat front good rear , covered the ground well .

NB. 1ST Rudkin Keydax Layla for Dynastydax, Black and tan , best mover in this class, won with a bit to spare.

2nd Williams Wilmerella Moulin Rouge, Red lost out to one on movement .

PGB 9 1ABS Rudkin Dynastydax Periwinkle JW. Shaded red very sound ,well deserved her first place. Appealing in head and eye , good type ,kept her topline on the stack and on the go around, Handles well .

2nd Smith Wolferlow Maid Marian , Black and Tan . nicely made , good shoulders , one for the future i’m sure.

LB. 13 6ABS. 1ST Melbourne/Paget and Carroll, Garthorne Olivia Grace of Melriding .My notes say stunning. The most beautiful black and tan ,such a classic outline. Just flowed from her nose to the tip of her tail. Not over done in any way , enough ground clearance with good well filled front . Enough bone level backline, stood on good well padded feet , loved her drive going round .

Delighted to award her the CC and BOB and then watch her go BIS.

2ND Worswick Dolyharp Sonata, Clear red very unlucky to meet one in such sparkling form .

Another beautiful breed type .so sound maintained her shape at all times , good pigmentation ,moved smartly out around the ring.

OB 6 3ABS 1st Blackburn-Bennett CH Stargang Cherry Berry, Very worthy of her title , one with most exquisite head and eye , well put together looked an absolute picture on the stack , today just preferred the more positive rear movement of Limit Bitch Winner .Delighted to award her the Res Bitch cc.

2nd Melbourne /Paget and Carroll Stargang Glimmer of Melridng. Black and tan super type, good head and eye, not the glamour of winner but never the less a very honest type.

Thank you to all who entered and for the efforts of my steward .
